Book lovers best kept secret! I have been made aware of a couple of ways to get free books!

Yes, you read that right! There are a few ways to get books for free that anyone can take advantage of. You don’t have to be a blogger or product reviewer and you do not need a huge social media following at all to take advantage of these ideas! If you love books as much as we do then you need to find ways to get more books without taking out a second mortgage, right?

I am sure that I had heard of this before, but for some reason I keep forgetting about the Little Free Library! This organization has helped to set-up tiny free libraries across the world! Some Little Free Libraries even offer pantry items and canned goods! All sorts of organizations have come together to sponsor a container and even started getting a little crazy with the “housing” of the Little Free Library from old newspaper boxes to grills to homemade containers. You can see some of the design on their Facebook page. The really cool thing about the Little Free Library is leaving books for others no matter where you live or travel. This idea is great for frugal families like ours who love books and sometimes find ourselves with double or just too many to fit on the shelves. (Is it really a bad thing to fill empty diaper boxes with books?) The next time we travel I will pull up our location and see if we can select a book for on the ride home and be sure to leave a few books in its place. Unfortunately our town doesn’t currently have a Little Free Library but I would love to help get one started.

Can you say Community Service Project? (Updated 3/2018- our town now has at least 2 Little Free Library boxes!)

I first found out about My Reader Rewards as a blogger, but you can join even if you don’t blog! Anyone looking to expand their library with Christian books and Bibles can join. The more survey’s you take, reviews you write, and the more times your share My Reader Rewards with family and friends you earn free books! You can earn over 200 points for the surveys that are being offered right now on the My Reader Rewards site! You can earn 50 points every 30 days for sharing on social media. You earn 10 points for each friend your refer and they start out with 25 points for joining. If you work throughout the year you can select free items for Christmas and birthday presents OR add to your church library. You can also donate the items that you earn or leave them at a nursing home or doctor’s office to bless someone else!

So now that you know two ways to get free books which one will you choose?
