January 28, 2018 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

Are you looking for a few simple Valentine’s Day Party games for younger children? I love to create party game ideas that are fun and a little educational as well. My youngest is 4 years old and is looking forward to our homeschool groups Valentine’s Day party. Since we will be participating in the event we were also asked to provide an activity or party game.

Heart Shaped Fine Motor Party Game

Heart Shaped Fine Motor Party Game

For this first party game you will need a few simple supplies:

tray or flat cookie sheet

tweezers, tongs or spoon

heart-shaped containers

Welch’s fruit snacks

Place the tray on the table and lay the heart-shaped containers on the tray. Open up 3-5 bags of fruit snacks and empty into one of the heart-shaped containers. Allow children to take turns trying to transfer the fruit snacks from one heart to another. If you have older children you can use a timer to make it more challenging.

Valentine’s Day may be one of the sweetest days of the year right after Halloween. Do your children love to cook as much as they enjoy a sweet treat? If so, they should try to make some of these Valentine’s Day treats. Each activity is great for older elementary to make on their own or for preschoolers to make with parental guidance.

A great way to engage your baby is through playing games and activities. I’m going to call it Baby School! Since Lil’ Red is almost 6 months it is definitely time to plan activities for his growth and curiosity. A super quick and easy activity is to make Sensory Bottles using emptied tea bottles. You could also use water bottles or something similar.

Valentine’s Day Fine Motor Skills

What do you do when your Tot grows up and are a little too big for Tot Trays? Continue to work on Fine Motor skills by bringing out new fun activities! My niece and Lil’ Red were very interested in doing “school” so out came some fun Valentine’s Day Fine Motor Skill activities. My sister and I were taking inventory on activities and came up with quite a few. I am only showcasing 5 Fine Motor Skills that are for Preschool and Kindergarten age.
