18″ Doll  School Room Tutorial and Giveaway

Doll school room tutorial and giveaway

Princess decided she needed a schoolroom after viewing ideas from Doll Diaries. We had created a bedroom area on a large piece of cardboard when we had upgraded our toilet. So we decided to use the back side for the school room. (We made this month’s ago and I keep promising Princess that we would finish the post. So this morning I decided to try to finish it to surprise her!)

Supplies to Gather:

large piece of cardboard- foldable at least 20″ tall
glue sticks
roll of paper
chalk board
bulletin border strips
Printable Mini-Office pages- I would visit a couple of websites BEFORE printing. Then save pdf’s so you can print 2 or 4 to a page.
Basic Directions, Charts, Desk Tag (abc, color, number days of the Week), Squidoo About Mini Office, Lapbook Lessons Mini Office

AG School Room background
We covered the back side with a roll of white paper from JoAnn’s meant for an art easel that we had on hand. Otherwise you would see the toilet graphics. We used glue sticks and worked quickly to smooth the paper flat. Once the paper was secure on all edges we trimmed the excess paper and were ready to decorate!

We already had school themed border from the Dollar Tree from when we first began to homeschool. We also had items printed to make a Mini-Office (but realized my children had outgrown 90% of the concepts by the time we started our homeschool year!) So we pulled out the printed sheets and bulletin border number strip, shape strip, color strip, and apple strip. I had bought some supplies from a retiring teacher over the Summer so we used those items as well.

Time chart, US states and Capitols chart, AG school room

The States & Capitols sticker, Time stickers, and Attendance charts were all apart of our “beginning to homeschool” stash and most likely found at Dollar Tree!

Well, I hope you found this 18″ Doll School Room tutorial helpful in creating a school room for your American Girl, Springfield Girl, or other 18″ Dolls! Please feel free to leave a comment or question if you are having trouble finding or printing resources!

GIVEAWAY:

Since we do have extra borders, stickers, and misc. decorations for a school room we decided that one lucky winner would receive an envelope of assorted goodies to help created their own school room! This is open to any US resident age 13 or older. Please enter below and we hope you win!
