We usually start school in the kitchen or on the couch, but if the weather is really nice on the 1st day of school we try to do something outside or go to a nature park or play park or something FUN to kick off the new school year!
I decided taking some pictures would be the best way to show you our space-

TOT SCHOOL SHELF for Lil’ Red:
I’ll be honest we did not get the desk in our kitchen cleaned off or the desktop computer desk area in Princess’ room so those pics will be left out, lol. We also use a laptop, e-reader, and other portable learning tools.
Our outdoor space looks like this:
Thanks for stopping by and peeking into our homeschool world. As we get more organized and use some of our NEW things and find some OLD things we will post them to share.

Kitchen table school–the best kind!
Yes, we start there but often put school work on designated clipboards (with each childs name on it in vinyl letters) and have school on the go. Will elaborate on that the last week of August talking about Day in the life…
I love the swing ~ that would be my spot of choice!!
I love that Tot School Shelf!
Here’s the story behind it: Metal bakers rack bought 3-5 yrs. ago at garage sale for $3! Then set outside to hold toys or plants. Then I REALLY wanted a tot shelf and just couldn’t come up with anything I could use/make/build. Then I saw that rack and had Eldest help clean it up and bring in. It’s one of the fold-able kinds that’s pretty easy to move around. Still trying to make another shelf for the middle shelf to hold 2 tot trays for flexability.
