What do you do when the weather is nice and the kids are bored? Send them outside for rock painting of course! The first step is gathering the rocks and washing the rocks before the fun begins!
My kids were so quick at finding their rocks and washing them that I didn’t even get pictures. Oh, well maybe next time. We used an empty ice cream bucket to give the rocks a bath and an old towel to dry them.
Princess, Big Red, and Lil’ Red all had fun with this activity. I say it’s a winner if 3 out of 4 children enjoy it!
When was the last time you painted a rock? How about just some good old fashioned rock collecting? How about creating a Rock Kit for your children to learn all about rocks?
