Reasons Why You Should Own a Diffuser

December 16, 2015 By Thaleia 11 Comments

I was on the fence for a long while about buying a diffuser. I knew that I wanted to try one but I hated to spend $40-$80 on Amazon to get one. I also didn’t want to buy a junkie one that would wind up broken in a few days. When I was given the opportunity to review one for a discounted price I was super excited!

Reasons Why You Should Own A Diffuser- Something 2 Offer

Today I want to share with you some reasons why you should own a diffuser. I am sure there are more reasons than I am listing but these are the reasons that I use a diffuser with my family. I have children but do not have pets. If you have pets then you would need to research how essential oils and smells may interact with their immune systems and neurological systems by contacting a veterinarian or herbalist.

Do you own a diffuser? Why or why not? Read why I own one!

To Wake You Up

You can use certain essential oils to help wake you up and get you moving in the morning. If you have night owls then you know how difficult it is to get people awake and moving in the morning. I am an early bird but need to start the diffuser before I want my family to wake up!

To Calm You Down

If you have rambunctious children in the late afternoons or evenings then you would need to switch to a calming scent to help calm them down. You may try a single scent like Lavender 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oil  or a blend like Relaxation Synergy Blend Essential Oil  that is formulated to help calm you down. You will have to see which scents work best for yourself or your family.

To Help You Focus

Yes, you can stay on task and regain your focus with certain scents. Once you do your researcher you will have a handful of essential oils to try. I like something simple like Peppermint 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oil but you might think it’s too strong. Again you may have to try a few different ones to see which fits your preference.

To Keep You Healthy

I do not diffuse essential oils regularly to keep healthy because we use roller bottle on our feet at night but you could use scents to help increase your chances of staying healthy. Again it may be trial and error finding a scent you enjoy and which seems to work for your family. I often use Four Thieves Synergy Blend Essential Oil  but there are many varieties of bends or single essential oils that can be used.

We actually own the Ansissy Aromatherapy Essential Oils Diffuser which is the model that we received for a discount. It offers 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes of misting. It also offers a few LED lights and a sounds options. This is a great starter diffuser that doesn’t cost a lot of money!

I love my diffuser and it’s the same one in your top photo. My favorite blend to diffuse is Citrus Fresh. It smells great and is motivating.

I love to use Young Living Thieves in my diffuser during the day and night. This helps to purify the air and thieves also has been proven to kill mold.

I love my diffuser! It helps me to calm down after a long day and helps during allergy season! I also use essential oils with flea treatments and cleaning!

I use DoTerra and Plant Therapy oils in all 3 of my diffusers for everything. I have been using essential oils for 5+ years. Before it was just a hippy thing and now I don’t get as many laughs or strange looks as I used to.

I love my diffuser that I use! No walking around the house with a can of aerosol, making the family cough as it settles down from the air! I don’t have to think about it!! I set it for a time and it keeps a constant good smell of my choice in the house! I’ve got spray diffusers, stick diffusers and the melts in my house! 😉

I am a newbie to the essential oils. I have a 3 year old very rambunctious grandson and I have been looking into ways to help him. I bought the diffuser that is shown at the top of the page and I love it. I decided to use it for me before I invested in one for my grandson. I will very definitely be buying him one. I have been using mine at work and all my co-workers seem to really like it. We are having an “Intro to Essential Oils” at the Piqua Public Library on Jan. 12 at 6:30 and I am so excited because I really want to implement oils into my family’s lives.

We have several diffusers in our home and and love them! I think we use them primarily to keep us healthy and to calm the kids down. Sometimes the big kids too… Lol. Thanks the great post!

I LOVE my diffuser!! I am going to look into that diffuser model that you have a pic of. I like the fact that it runs for 30 minutes. My diffuser doesn’t have an option to choose a 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. It just runs until I shut it off!
