God’s Promises for Girls Preview

God's Promises for Girls, Jack Countryman

An easy way to help young girls (ages 6-10) see God’s promises and how they can rely on His love in their daily lives.

The promise verses in this book are selected from the best-selling International Children’s Bible® to offer comfort and encouragement when a girl is feeling afraid, lonely, worried, angry, dissatisfied, discouraged, sad, rebellious, impatient, or sick . . . and when they need reassurance of God’s protection, love, forgiveness, help . . . and that He listens when they pray. It’s a great way for children to hide God’s Word in their hearts.

Sample text:  Monsters. Spiders. Being alone. Do any of these things make you feel afraid? When you start to feel fear, hold on tight to these words: God promises to take your fear away!

“So don’t worry, because I am with you. Don’t be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you. I will support you with my right hand that saves you.” Isaiah 41:10

Princess read the entire book in two days. She could not put it down. This is very good thing since she has not been reading as much as I would like. She is 8 1/2 yrs. old and was very interested in what the book had to say! That made this mom very happy to see her learning biblical truths from a trusted source, Thomas Nelson.

It’s a great way for children to hide God’s Word in their hearts. Sample text:  Sometimes it’s hard to tell the truth when you feel like you have something to hide. But remember—when it’s hard to be honest: God promises to reward Truth—not Lies! “You must do these things to enjoy life and have many happy days. You must not say evil things. You must not tell lies.” Psalms 34:12-13 Eldest did pick this book up and has read a few entries. He is more of an audio learner so reading actual text isn’t his thing. He is almost 10 yrs. old and sorta on the older end for this book. I know that his heart will still learn from the biblical truths and that some of the topics are still very relevant to him.
