Do you have animal lovers like I do? Have you taken them to a zoo to only want more animal interactions? Then I would suggest taking them to the African Safari Wildlife Park in Port Clinton just minutes from the Miller Ferry boatdock.

Are you looking for a way to spend some time as a family? Look no further then Perry’s Cave and Family Fun Center. They have all sorts of fun things to do like: cave tour, Rock climbing, miniature golf, maze, and Butterfly House. The entire property is filled with a rich history of the island.
Perry’s Cave:
The cave was very cool and wet. It was very educational, yet fun. From a kids standpoint it was really cool. The tour guide was very friendly and knew a lot about history which was interesting. The cave itself was very well lit and you were given ample notice if you were afraid of tight spaces. Some places had a low ceiling for taller adults but for kids they didn’t even need to duck.

Whether you are visiting for a day or a week you will want to be able to bring your vehicle to Put-in-Bay. Can you imagine lugging all of your items for yourself your children and your food without having the advantage of your vehicle? I cannot fathom trying to herd my kids and keep my sanity while trying to carry all of our clothes, diabetes supplies and comfort items. That is why we chose Miller Ferry to transport us from Catawba Island to South Bass Island.
This was the first time my hubby and kids got to ride a ferry. We had a great experience. No one got scared or sick. There’s a bathroom available on board which we didn’t need to use but glad one was available.

One morning my little boys were getting a little stir crazy and so was mommy. I decided to take them outside to hunt for bugs. We had recently bought new magnifying glasses from Dollar General and had bug barns that we made at Home Depot. They both thought this was a wonderful idea. They both hurried to get their socks and shoes and jackets on. No fussing and fighting just plain fun.

I saw the opportunity to obtain a copy of Motivate Your Child Action Plan for review and jumped at the chance. I have been a mother for 12 years and we now have four children ages 12 and under. Each of these children are very different in personality, mannerisms, and their hearts. I am way behind in reading and researching about parenting I will admit. Since we do not attend a church on a regular basis we really are not getting an spiritual guidance in our parenting and we are beginning to flounder. I feel so overwhelmed most days homeschooling and trying to create a blog that earns enough money to help build a financial cushion to reach our dreams. Throw in a child with Type 1 Diabetes, a Diva, two very smart for their age red heads and a hubby with some mystery ailments and most days I am just grateful to have a bed to flop in at the end of the day.
I do not want to be praying all day that we just survive the day. I do not want to be ready to pack up and head for the hills. I want to enjoy my children and really get to know their hearts and thoughts and talents and inspirations. I want them to know I have their backs but that we also have high expectations for them to reach for the stars. I want them to look back at their childhoods and know that mommy and daddy loved them.
I feel that Motivate Your Child Action Plan will give us the tools to be the best parents we can be while leading our children in a more positive parenting direction. I am wanting results without all the yelling, name calling, and temper tantrums (not always by the children mind you!) I know that having an example and game plan grounded in God’s word will make all the difference in the world. It’s a piece of the puzzle that has been missing from our family and I want it found.
The MYC Action Plan book gives parents the tools to implement the same process to produce change in any family. Twelve audio presentations compliment the material in each chapter and can be downloaded to the device. It’s just like having Dr. Turansky and Mrs. Miller right there to assist with the development of your plan via Biblical Parenting website.
The Motivate Your Child Action Plan will give you the tools to address sibling conflict, poor school performance, disrespect, laziness, procrastination, sloppy work, emotional outbursts, self-centeredness, and so much more.
This approach will equip and empower you to parent any age child, from toddlers to teenagers, and beyond. If you have a problem to address in your child, this book can help you envision the solution and then lay out the steps to get there.
With any new habit or character training it will take hard work and time for a positive change to take place. According to the book details you need 40 days till you work through the book and work through a problem or challenge. This book is not a one time through and then place on the self to be forgotten. I have four children and each one has a couple different areas of their life that need improvement so I think this book may easily become a tattered mess in a hurry!
Join me as we start a parenting journey to reach the heart of each child in a biblical manner!
