Play is Important to Child Growth and Development #ShapedByPlay #IC #ad @PlayLSI

This post was sponsored by Landscape Structures as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. All opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Do you have fond memories of going out to recess to play or playing at a park on a bright Spring day? I do remember the simple structures that my elementary playground had. We had swings, a concrete tunnel, merry-go-round, see-saw, and a soccer field at our daily disposal. We were afforded the opportunity to climb, swing, run and spin to our hearts were content each nice weather day from Kindergarten to 6th grade!

This post was sponsored by Samsung as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

It’s Tax Refund Time and at our house that mean’s it could be time to upgrade our electronics. We are very frugal buyers who take our time in researching brands, ratings, and prices. We never buy anything electronic on a whim but only make new purchases after careful consideration. Are you the same way? Do you keep plodding along use an old tablet or mobile device until you have done all your research?

COSI Columbus, OH

February 7, 2017 By Thaleia 1 Comment

As you walk up to COSI you are greeted with Science right off the bat! There are a variety of Dinosaur sculptures on the front right side of the building. Eldest took some pictures of the sculptures since there was quite the crowd outside with a special event.

COSI Dinosaurs

It just so happened to be Farm Days at COSI during our visit. This event is held annually on the front lawn of COSI as well as many other themed events like Big Machines or EMS & Safety Days. The last Friday of the month is Family Friday Nights  when COSI stays open and offers a discount which includes a movie.

Frisch’s New Holiday Menu: Peppermint Hot Fudge Cake #tutugood

December 21, 2016 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

Today’s post is sponsored by Frisch’s® Big Boy® and I was compensated for this post but all opinions are my own.

Peppermint is to Winter as Pumpkin Spice is to Fall; both yummy and delicious! Frisch’s® Big Boy® and Chef Greg Grisanti have created a new twist to an old classic! The decadent chocolate Hot Fudge Cake that you have come to know has gotten a delicious makeover. Que the music as peppermint has been added to make Peppermint Hot Fudge Cake!

Frisch's New Holiday Menu

Of course, you cannot start with dessert, so you better eat your dinner first! This season’s menu includes mouthwatering dinner entrées featuring roast beef, country-fried steak, meatloaf, and turkey all served with side of green beans and mashed potatoes!

Young Girls Holiday Gift Guide

November 9, 2016 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

Since I have 3 nieces younger than Princess I thought a Young Girls Holiday gift guide might be fun to put together. This post is where I will be adding fun new gifts that I find that would be good for girls ages 5-10!

diy_562060-1_lil-lockitz-memory-studio_backangle

The first item that I have found is the Lil’ Lockitz Design Studio. This set lets the young designer create something truly personal, for herrself or a friend. She can create a wearable jewelry that tells a story, with gems, backgrounds and charms of her favorite things.

Makes 10 reusable Lockitz. Wear them as a necklace, bracelet or use the keychain clasps to make clip-ons!

Includes Design Studio with storage compartments, lights and music, Display Stand, Locket Tops and Backs, Necklaces, Bracelets, Keychain Clasps, Custom Charms, Backgrounds, Tweezers, Photo Stencil and Instructions.

3 AA Batteries required, batteries not included.

Recommended for children 5 years of age and older.
