July 5, 2017 By Thaleia 2 Comments

Summer is here and it’s time to get our Summer gear ready! I love to get out and go play with friends on a weekly basis along with heading almost daily to the library for Summer Reading Club. I want to give my children both memories and socialization during the warm sunny days of Summer.

How to Help Kids Stay Hydrated During the Summer #Switch2BODYARMOR #BringIt #Sponsored

June 14, 2017 By Thaleia 12 Comments

This post is sponsored by Kroger and BODYARMOR although all opinions are my own. I was able to participate in this program via the Mom It Forward Influencer Network.

Do your children love to be active during the warm Summer weather? From biking to boating to swimming to playing at the park my kids are on the go all Summer long! It can be a challenge to help them stay hydrated during the Summer when they are focused on fun Summer activities.

How to Help Kids Stay Hydrated During the Summer

One way that we prepare for our busy Summer days is to make sure our water pitcher is filled each night. We fill up our water bottles so that they are cold in the morning when we head to the park. Nothing like heading out the door to find that someone left their water bottle in the car or forgot to fill it the night before. Ice is a commodity at our house since we don’t have an ice maker!

How to Make Time for Family Time #WonderWoman #ad

May 10, 2017 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Dr Pepper®. The opinions and text are all mine.

What do all busy families have in common? Lack of family time! Crazy hectic schedules either from multiple children in sports or therapy appointments to parents work schedules usually don’t allow a lot of family time. Making family time a priority can be very hard in certain seasons of life but it still is very important to enjoy family time.

Outdoor Family Time

Taking the children outside to throw a ball or jump rope or ride bikes are great ways to enjoy some family time at home. You can plant a garden or go on a bug hunt to get fresh air and engage in an activity together. Learning, growing and laughing together are all important aspects of family time!

Indoor Family Time

Cooking and eating a meal together is one of our favorite ways to spend time together indoors. Whether it’s cooking a new recipe, or whipping up an old favorite! Board games as well as playing hide and seek indoors are some other great ways to spend time with children of all ages!

Family Time Away From Home

Whether going to the grocery store or park; spending time together as a family can be done just about anywhere. Our family enjoys going to the movie theater even though we don’t get to very often. Even Lil’ Red has been able to sit through a feature film as long as 90 minutes!

Did you know that Wonder Woman the movie is coming to theaters soon? Everyone in our family has an affinity for super heroes! What’s even better is the opportunity to save $5 on your movie ticket with the purchase of 2 participating Dr Pepper 24-packs (or 12-pack, 8-pack 12 oz. or 7.5 oz cans) found at Walmart!

Buy 2 Dr Pepper Limited Edition #WonderWoman products

This offer can ONLY be found on Wonder Woman Limited Edition Dr Pepper cans purchased at Walmart. Since the Wonder Woman movie comes out on June 2nd, 2017 you will want to have your Dr Pepper products purchased before they run out!

Here’s the list of the specific products to look for in order to take advantage of that $5 movie ticket offer:

  • Diet Dr Pepper (24-pack, 12-pack, 8-pack 12 oz or 7.5 oz cans)
  • Dr Pepper Cherry (24-pack, 12-pack, 8-pack 12 oz or 7.5 oz cans)
  • Diet Dr Pepper Cherry (24-pack, 12-pack, 8-pack 12 oz or 7.5 oz cans)

Dr Pepper #WonderWoman Specially marked packages

So what are you waiting for? Gather up your family and head to Walmart to pick up some Dr Pepper (with Wonder Woman themed packaging) so you can enjoy the Wonder Woman movie at Fandango movie theaters in June!
